Baby Jogger are one of the industry leaders for jogging strollers and the City Elite represents the best of their City series of strollers. It has all the features and extras they can provide and this is the case with the double which maintains the quality of the series. It’s a swivel wheel stroller so navigating in small spaces like malls is easy and with 2 passengers is essential. The wheels can lock forward if you go outside over difficult terrain or when you want to do some power walking.

The wheels are large at 12″ and air filled which makes this capable of dealing with all terrains. The suspension is based on the front wheels so your children get an incredibly smooth ride and the stroller is easy to push. The handlebar height is adjustable so you can set it at the perfect height whoever is pushing it. There’s a handlebar console for drinks and essentials and this is included with the double stroller for infant and toddler. Storage is taken care of with compartments above, behind and underneath the seat.

Your children are secured using an adjustable padded 5 point harness while sitting on the plushest of padded seats. These recline near flat should your little ones want a nap and there’s a footrest for further comfort. The sun canopies are multi position and go very low to almost covering each child. These have viewing windows so you can keep an eye on your children and side ventilation panels to keep them cool. The stroller comes with a weather cover included if the weather changes.

One impressive feature of Baby Jogger strollers is the easy quick folding mechanism. Folding is as easy as lifting the stroller from the middle of the seat using a special strap. The weight capacity is 100 lbs which is average for double jogging strollers and is good because it will last as your children grow. The width is 29.5″ which is very good as it’s less than the width of a standard doorway (32″) so you’ll have the convenience of being able to take it in the home.

After studying the reviews on the web for this stroller we come to the same conclusion as the other “expensive” strollers we’ve reviewed. When people bought it they’re glad they did. The price is mentioned by some but everyone is extremely happy with the product and some said it’s worth the money. With the City Elite double you are really getting the cream of the crop of Baby Trend Navigator Double Jogging Stroller, they don’t come much better. You pay for quality and it shows.

Some found the stroller heavy or bulky and this is said of all double joggers. It does weigh 39 lbs and most other double joggers are 30 to 35 lbs so it is slightly on the high end. The dimensions otherwise are similar to most others. Some also felt the lower basket was a little small but they still gave the stroller top marks. Overall if you plan to spend the money then your choice is between this and the Valco Baby Tri Mode Twin which is $699 ($50 more). They’re both rated very highly by their users so it’s simply a personal choice.
